Mindfulness is the practice of slowing down, opening to our direct experience, and finding rest in our bodies and minds. Meditation is how we practice mindfulness. In this class, we will discuss the many benefits of mindfulness, the misunderstandings of meditation, and learn how to integrate this practice into our everyday lives so we can live with a clear, calm mind and a warm, open heart while being more available to the experiences of joy and happiness.
The class will start with a 30-minute talk followed by a 10-minute guided meditation and end with time for shares and questions about the practice. Join from the comfort of your own home.
